How to play Classical Thump Part 1
This first clip of "Classical Thump" shows the basic chord/note structure of the beginning of the song. Follow the notes closely, they will be the same note upon which we will build the next two lessons.
How to play Classical Thump Part 2
This clip build upon the first, introducing a hammer-on to the same sequence of notes.
How to play Classical Thump Part 3
This clip adds a third note into the mix, stacking an upward thumb pluck onto what was done in the second example. Start this one slowly, get it right, then speed up paying special attention to your technique. It would help further to play all these along with a metronome.
How to play Classical Thump Part 4
Clip four steps into the next sequence. Think "thumb, pluck, thumb, pluck" with the thumb and pointer fingure.
How to play Classical Thump Part 5
This one is a variation on what was done in clip four. Again, start slow, get the technique, use a metronome if you have one.
